Michele Finney is Market Chief Executive Officer for Abrazo Community Health Network, which encompasses multiple campuses, two freestanding emergency centers and a physicians group. Previously, Finney served as chief executive officer for Los Alamitos Medical Center, overseeing the strategic, operational and clinical activities for the 167-bed acute care hospital in Los Alamitos, California. Past leadership roles include The Health Care Center on Golden Rain Road, the Total Care Pavilion Centers on the Los Alamitos campus, and the Reagan Street Ambulatory Surgery Center. Under her leadership, Los Alamitos Medical Center is a seven-time recipient of the Tenet Hospital Circle of Excellence Award.
Finney has served in a variety of health care management roles. She served as the Campus Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Los Alamitos Medical Center, Lakewood Regional Medical Center and Suburban Medical Center. Prior to that, she served as the COO of Garfield Medical Center and Assistant Administrator for Los Altos Hospital.
She has held many hospital industry and community leadership roles including Hospital Association of Southern California board member, Los Alamitos Chamber of Commerce board member, Leisure World Advisory board member and Cyprus College Foundation board member.
Finney earned a master’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University’s Executive MBA program.
